There are two OSX nodes on our network that have SNMP service (snmpd daemon) crash at exactly 5:30pm every day, with Solarwinds reporting them as "rebooted". The crashes only happen when NPM is running and happen due to something NPM is doing. This only happens on OSX 10.10 nodes that were upgraded from 10.9. OSX nodes that have a fresh install of 10.10 are not affected. Nodes with other OSX versions - unaffected.
It is clear that the crashes are related to something Solarwinds does exactly once a day. When we powered down the Solarwinds server during when those crashes were usually occurring (5:15pm), and then powered it back on, the crashes occurred right after it came back up, at 5:30pm, and started happening every day at 5:30pm from that moment.
How can we troubleshoot this?
